Family plays a critical role in how I approach business and life.

So in order to know me, I should introduce you to the fam.

Meet Jeff, Roz and Rocky. They are the loves of my life. Since Covid, we also added one more rescue cat named Jenny to our motley crew. These guys keep me going and help me focus and stay positive every day.

These are the people who got me here.  You're looking at a family with an 80% rate of entrepreneurship.

Creative, independent thinking, risk takers. I learned a lot about business around the kitchen table when I was growing up. Not much has changed now. There was never a question of whether you could  do something, just a question of how.

I've been an entrepreneur since 2004. Right after college, I started a Massage Therapy business, and then eventually graduated to running a yoga studio with content creation on the side.

While the online and in person business models are different, they have a lot to teach each other. I found I was bringing more and more online marketing techniques into my Brick and Mortar business over time.

When Covid happened, it was time to shift to the online space, and reconnect with some skills that had been sitting on a shelf for the most part. You know that job I don't talk about? I taught massage therapy at a college. At the time, there was a push to take as much content online as possible so I learned a lot about digital course creation and instructional design

This is my dad. He's an inspiring man, despite his questionable taste in facial hair.

I take after my dad even though most assume I take after my mom. He's the creative one. The one who takes risks. We like to jump first and build the plane on the way down.

We also NEED to create. My dad "retired" (and believe me, those quotation marks are earned.) He does have a little more time now to pursue his new hobby of... get this... blacksmithing. He built his own forge after attending the school of YouTube using an old hair dryer. Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks?

Whether it was learned or inherited from my dad, I was super grateful for the scrappy resourcefulness when Covid forced a major shift in my business model. I had to mobilize for full online business quickly.
